Editor David Egan was born in Cleveland, raised in Baltimore, came of age in New York, and is currently undergoing whatever transition follows that in LA. After graduating with a BFA from NYU, David began his career as assistant editor on the Academy Award-nominated documentary Murderball. He has edited two feature-length documentaries, including This Is Not A Robbery (which premiered at Tribeca and now screens on IFC). David was first assistant on feature films MacGruber, Role Models, and Harold and Kumar III, and television shows Don’t Trust the B—- in Apt. 23, Michael and Michael Have Issues, and Childrens Hospital. He’s edited numerous shorts and web series, including Wainy Days and Garfunkel and Oates. But mostly he’s just excited to be working with the guy who created Calvin & Hobbes.
